What is the Academy?
Three years ago, the Maryvale Union-Free School District embarked on a journey to begin a NAF Academy. After much thought and deliberation the decision was to not become a Finance Academy but to be the first Academy of Hospitality and Tourism and Hospitality in the area with a NAF Accrediation. Mrs. DeVita, Mrs. Wild and Mr. McNess worked tiredlessly in an effort to create a phenomenal academy, that would benefit the students of Maryvale High School.
A three year pathway was created for students to achieve mastery in the area of Hospitality and Tourism, partnered with local colleges, business and political resources.
