School Exclusions

The School Nurse may exclude students from school if the following medical conditions occur: 

  1. 1Undiagnosed skin eruptions of the face, head, or body.

  2. Any student who has head or body lice/nits/eggs.

  3. Any student who has an inflammed condition of the eyes.

  4. Any student with a temperature of 100 degrees or greater

  5. A student who has vomited while in school.

  6. Any student having suspicious oral irritations.

  7. Any student with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 

Students returning after an acute illness, and/or communicable disease, and are absent for more than 3 consecutive days are required to see the school nurse and provide a medical note from their health care provider that they can return to school
