Advanced Placement American History

40 weeks - 1 credit/A.P. Exam and Regents Exam

Grades: 11

Prerequisite: Recommendation

A college freshman survey course in American History (1400-1970).  The emphasis is on the interpretation of  the events in American History.  College credit may  be obtained by taking the Advanced Placement Exam in May.  The AP exam is required of all students in this course.
