Vocal music classes meet once a week for 55 minutes. Our vocal music program focuses on appreciation of music, musical competencies and developing musical concepts.

Chorus is an intramural activity which gives children added experiences beyond the vocal music class, such as singing in parts and participating in concerts. We have a third grade chorus, and a combined fourth and fifth grade chorus.

Instrumental music is offered in small group lessons to fourth and fifth grade students and as an intramural activity. In instrumental music a child has the opportunity to excel at his/her own pace, participate in a performing group and learn self discipline. The Intramural Band and Orchestra meet after school. Lessons are held once a week during the school day.

Third grade Students have an opportunity to choose a musical instrument at the end of their school year. Parent conferences will be set up for those students interested and recommended by their Music teacher in May or June.
