Our Library's Mission
To ensure that students and staff members are responsible and skilled users of information and ideas.
Our Goals
To allow students to use a variety of books and electronic (computer) resources
To introduce students to the research process
To encourage a love of reading by sharing a variety of genres of literature
Visiting the Library
Students have scheduled library instruction once a week. They are allowed to check out books at the end of each class. At this time, due to scheduling needs, there is no open library time.
Loan Policies
Pre-K and Kindergarten students are allowed to check out 1 book.
1st and 2nd graders may check out up to 2 books.
All Primary materials are due a week from the day they are checked out.
All materials may be renewed one time.
Overdue & Lost/Damaged Materials
Reminder notes are sent out on a weekly basis. There are no "overdue" fines, but it is expected that any lost or damaged materials are replaced or paid for. If a lost book is found and in good condition, it may be returned to the library for a refund if it was previously paid for.
