Special Education

The Maryvale School District is responsible for identifying and arranging for the provision of special education services to students who qualify as a student with a disability and are residents of the Maryvale School District. Students age 3-5 (not yet in kindergarten) are referred to the Preschool Committee on Special Education for evaluation and review. Students age 5 -21 are referred to the School Age Committee on Special Education for evaluation and review. The procedure for referral is slightly different for each Committee.
