  • Tuesday, December 10th is Maryvale High School’s first-ever UNITY DAY.  Wear ORANGE to recognize Human Rights day. On this day in 1948, the UN adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This document gives rights to all humans regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political view, social origin, or other status.  Everyone has the right to be safe and treated with dignity. Yet, across the world, ⅓ of teenagers experience bullying, in person or online.  On Tuesday, December 10th, wear ORANGE to show that we are UNITED for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and to show that together, Maryvale is against bullying.

  • The Suitcase Scarf Sale in the library has been extended so that anyone who wants to shop for Christmas can do so. The scarves are still priced at $10 and they do make great gifts, especially for the Buffalo climate. $5 of each sale will go to a charity.
