    CLASSROOM SUPPLY LIST RECOMMENDED FOR SEPTEMBER 2021-2022

    • 2 red pens
    • 5 dozen #2 wooden pencils (Ticonderoga work best) (without plastic covering)
    • 1 box of crayons
    • 1 pkg. of water based markers
    • 4 black dry erase markers (thin)
    • 1 Gallon Ziploc baggies- boys only
    • 1 Quart Ziploc baggies- girls only
    • 1 bottle of Elmer's School Glue
    • 3 large glue sticks
    • 1 zippered supply bag (no boxes please)
    • 1 Pink Pearl eraser
    • 1 pair of scissors
    • 2 highlighters
    • 1 pack of multiplication flash cards
    • 5 packs 3x3 Post-it's
    • 1 package of filler paper (wide lined)
    • 4 marble notebooks
    • 10 plastic folders with 2 pockets and prongs, various colors (see below)
    • 1 1/2 inch three ringed binder with pockets (nothing larger will fit properly in desk)
    • 1 pair of earbuds for computer class
    • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer

    **Please label folders and notebooks with student's name and subject**

    Folders

    Science- green folder

    Social Studies- blue folder

    Reading- red folder

    Writing- orange folder

    Take Home- any color

    Work in Progress- yellow folder

    Music- any color

    Computer- any color

    * A few extra folders should be stored in locker for easy replacement during the year.

    Notebooks

    Reading- 1 marble notebook

    Writing- 1 marble notebook

    Guided Reading- 1 marble notebook

    Science- 1 marble notebook

     

     

    Classroom supplies are to be replaced as consumed during the school year.

    Trapper Keepers, mechanical pencils, and book bags on wheels are not allowed.  We will be providing each student with a Student Agenda.  If the Agenda is lost, the student will be asked to buy a replacement for $5.00.

    Art Supplies-

    • Old long sleeved shirt/smock
    • Non-lined, Non-loose-leaf (bound) sketchbook
    • Labeled ART ziplock baggie to include: 2 sharpened pencils, hand-held plastic pencil sharpener, eraser
    • Tray of watercolor paints, 8 oval assorted colors/with paint brush

     

    Note: All of the items listed above will be used during your child's Art class. Items will need to be replaced during the year if they run out.

    Physical Education-

    Please label all clothing and supplies with your child's name
    For hygienic reasons, a separate set of clothes must be worn for class participation.

    • Shorts should be free from zippers and belt loops to avoid catching on any objects that may cause harm. Boys shorts may not have any pockets.
    • T-shirts are to be worn for class.  Shirts should be free from any inappropriate ads or words.
    • Halter tops, sleeveless tops, half-t-shirts and spaghetti straps may not be worn for class.
    • Athletic sneakers and socks must be worn at all times.  Unacceptable footwear would include but not to be limited to: shoes, deck shoes, rubber soled boots, hiking boots, high soled sneakers, fashion sneakers, backless sneakers, sneakers with wheels or sneakers with soft black soles that mark the gym floor.
    • New York State MANDATES that NO jewelry be worn in Physical Education class.  All jewelry is to be removed and left in your child's classroom, along with their money and/or other valuables.
    • Sweatshirts and/or sweatpants are optional.
    • All undergarments are to be covered up at all times.
    • Toiletries such as deodorant and powder are optional.  Make sure containers are non-aerosol varieties and non-breakable.

    All students will use the locker room for changing purposes.

    If eyeglasses are to be worn in class, the student MUST wear glass guards.  A parental note allowing your child to wear glasses without the guards can be accepted.

    Note: A separate letter indicating your child's Bus # and Bus Stop Location, or walker designation, will be mailed to your home by the transportation office.
